Top Honor from Major UK Publications
BOXBOROUGH, Mass. (BUSINESS WIRE) February 19, 2004 — ComputerActive,
the UK's best-selling computer magazine, today awarded its "Best of Test" Award
to the InBoxer™ spam filter from Audiotrieve™, LLC, in an extensive
group test. Since December 2003, InBoxer has received top awards and accolades
from Personal Computer World, PC Advisor, PC Pro, and now, ComputerActive.
"In our tests, one product really stood out above the rest and is a must-have
for users of Outlook," reported ComputerActive in the issue dated 3 March,
2004. “Because it's simple to install, made very few mistakes and learns
from the emails you mark as spam or otherwise. InBoxer gets our
Best on Test award. It’s a great application with no complicated rules
and doesn't require you to change the settings of your email application to use
it."
InBoxer removed 99 percent of all spam, according to the tests, and beat Cloudmark's
Spamnet, FireTrust's Mailwasher Pro, McAfee's SpamKiller 2004, Stata
Labs SAProxyPro and Symantec’s Norton AntiSpam. InBoxer was the only product
to receive four stars.
InBoxer requires Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Outlook. A 21 day free trial
is available from http://www.inboxer.co.uk and http://www.inboxer.com. The product
has a list price of $24.95.
