Audiotrieve's InBoxer Anti-Spam Software
Personal Computer World Gives Top Ratings to InBoxer
In An In-Depth Test of 10 Leading Spam Filters
BOXBOROUGH, Mass. (BUSINESS WIRE) Oct. 22,
2003 — Personal
Computing World, the UK's best-selling IT monthly magazine, today
awarded its highest ratings and top honors to the InBoxer™ for
Outlook spam filter from Audiotrieve™,
LLC. In an extensive group test involving 10 leading spam filters,
InBoxer was named the Editor’s Choice and given the
coveted Best Buy award. It was also awarded five stars overall and
five stars for ease of use.
"We have no hesitation at all in awarding the Editor's Choice
award to Audiotrieve's InBoxer," reported the magazine in its
December 2003 issue. "One of the few packages to score no false positives
at
all, it's easy to use, learns from the
messages that you review to become even better over time, and integrates
seamlessly with Outlook."
"InBoxer is a joy to use," the report concluded. "It does
its work, it doesn't crash, it doesn't misfile many messages, and it
detects a lot of spam. It's about as close to 'fit and forget' as you
can have while still being reliable."
"As a small company, it is gratifying to win these honors in an unbiased
head-to-head test against the biggest and most well-known anti-spam
products on the market," said
Roger Matus, chief executive of Audiotrieve.
Since September, InBoxer was also named best spam filter by well-respected
independent reviewer Spamotomy and received special recognition from
Helping Hands U.K. for its support of the visually and physically challenged
PC user.
InBoxer requires Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Outlook. A 21-day
free trial is available from http://www.inboxer.com.
The product has a list price of $24.95.
