The Main Screen

Let's start the tour at the InBoxer HOME page, which makes it easy to know what is going on.

1. The Dashboard displays the heartbeat of your message intelligence system.  It graphically shows overall email activity and any of the more than 80 Pre-Search categories that InBoxer can monitor.  All graphs are updated in real-time.

 

2. The Tabbed Work Space area is where most users spend the majority of their time.  It displays email messages, allows for electronic discovery, and enables the creation of reports and alerts.  The email list is also updated in real-time.

Your First Search

Perform your first search within seconds. There is no need for special training to begin.

1. Click on the Search tab.

 

2. Type in your search just like you would in a search engine. Use wildcards and Boolean operators, if you want. Advanced users can perform proximity searches, fuzzy searches, and complex multi-step searches.

 

3. Then, just click on the subject lines of the messages that interest you to read, print, email or export messages.

Compliance Searches

InBoxer goes beyond other products by categorizing messages using 80 different Pre-Search tests.  Many of these categories are for items you won't find with traditional searches, such as credit card leaks, potential harassment, and email abuse.

1. Select the Compliance tab and the category you want to investigate, such as HR Issues, Privacy, Email Use, Medical Content (for HIPAA), confidential data leaks, and more.
2. Choose the detailed category.
3. Organize the information the way you need it. Search by senders, recipients, or other content. Find the most recent problems, which are updated in real-time. Get summary reports, such as the Top Senders of Social Security Numbers.

Discovery and Litigation Hold

After searching and finding the messages you need to keep, you can easily place any message or group of messages on Litigation Hold. Our advanced litigation management capabilities ensures that messages are kept according to legal requirements.

Real-Time Policy Alerts

Create alerts that act within seconds of when a problem email is sent.   For most issues, a friendly reminder, like the one shown below, may be all that is needed to handle a situation.  Urgent items, however, can be forwarded to appropriate personnel automatically for proper handling.

Policy alerts can be based on any of the 80 Pre-Search categories monitored by InBoxer or lists that you create yourself.
